
I read this profile of Slavoj Zizek when it came out, loved it, and have returned to it several times since, because it contains more stimulation, more gems of insight, than 99% if marketing books. To take but one example (the one I happened to notice today, and which helps explain why, now that I have Spotify, I hardly ever listen to music):
"Videos and DVDs have ruined movies for me," he says. "Instead of seeing the movie, I buy it, and then I have it, so why should I watch it?"
